It gives me great pleasure to write a few words about my dear friend, Vikram Patwardhan and his team at Vama Events. I have known Vikram for almost a decade and I have always been most impressed by his commitment to work. For him, the project or event he undertakes has to be completed without a blemish, within the stipulated time span with all the bells and whistles the organizers and delegates expect and more. I have full faith in his integrity and respect his humility despite the quality of service he provides. His work was always excellent and has now touched perfection with his lovely wife Mitali joining him and sharing responsibility. They are a formidable pair and have set the benchmark in Medical Conferencing. I pray that Vama Events will continue the good work they are doing. I shall always be their greatest admirer and supporter. May god Bless Mitali, Vikram & VAMA EVENTS in all their ventures.

Congratulations Vikram at the completion of 9 years of Vama Events. It's been a great pleasure to have you associate with the Indian federation of Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology for The USCON GOA 2009 conference. Your speed, efficiency and enthusiasm to get things organised well before the D day were exemplary and till date the conference has created records of sorts in the history of IFUMB in terms of organisation and entertainment value.
